Additionally, accessing the hotel can be tricky as you must manage a roundabout and then make a quick left turn into the driveway, which can be dangerous with oncoming traffic. Lastly, while the hotel generally feels clean, it could benefit from a more thorough check of the amenities, especially in areas like the pool, which showed signs of aging.

The King Suite was spacious and clean, making for a comfortable stay. The breakfast selection was decent, featuring freshly prepared dishes like bacon and eggs. However, the highway noise from truckers kept me awake, and I encountered some strange noises, possibly from a pet, even though the hotel had a no-pets policy. Accessing the hotel was complicated due to a nearby roundabout and a blind curve when turning into the parking lot.

It was just an excellent fit for a short stayover in Troutville with outstanding value for money. The coffee maker in the room was super convenient for my morning caffeine fix. Make sure to check the breakfast offerings early if you want the good stuff.

The staff were friendly as hell, and the place was clean, ya know? I appreciated the brown bag breakfast, real lifesaver when you're on the road, didn't have to stop and waste time at some diner.

It wasn’t inexpensive, but I guess it wasn’t a total loss.

the hotel was a great base for exploring walking trails and parks, with tinker creek greenway just under 5 km away, making it perfect for my weekend strolls while enjoying nature's beauty.

The hotel ambiance was delightful. I loved the spacious lounge area that made it easy for seniors to move around. The indoor pool was an inviting touch, perfect for relaxation after a long day on the road.

i had a really great stay at comfort inn! the location was perfect, just off the interstate but quiet. the room was clean, and that bed was super comfy. loved the brown bag breakfast as it helped me skip a meal on the road!

The queen room was spacious with a mini fridge and microwave. A separate wash basin from the bathroom. It had free WiFi, a TV with cable, and comfy seating. The breakfast was solid with good options, including juice cartons for easy takeout. It’s close to I-81, but we didn’t hear the traffic at all.

I had a great experience. The location is perfect and quiet yet close to the interstate. The room was clean and spacious. The brown bag breakfast was a nice touch for my travel. Super comfy bed for a restful night! 😊
